In this episode of “The Journey of My Mother’s Son” podcast, I sit down to talk with Jack Graham.

Jack is now the General Manager of the Aberdeen Ironbirds minor league baseball team.

The Ironbirds are a division of Ripken Baseball.  Jack and I first met back in 2015 when he was fresh out of his professional baseball career and working in sales on the amateur side of Ripken Baseball.  His hard work and dedication moved him up through the ranks and he was promoted to General Manager of the Ironbirds in September of 2019.

Jack and I have stayed connected through social media.

I reached out to Jack when I knew that we’d be at the Ripken Experience in Aberdeen to attend the BFA Nationals.

I wanted to talk to him about something that he does on LinkedIn called Grati-Tuesday.  Every Tuesday, Jack creates a post where he gives a shout out of gratitude to one of his team members.  I personally look forward to reading it each week.

Jack and I talk about the importance of having an attitude of gratitude and what it means to him to be a part of the Ripken Baseball family.

Jack is an exceptional leader who takes the responsibility of upholding the culture of Ripken Baseball very seriously.
