In this episode of “The Journey of My Mother’s Son” podcast, Sandy and I sit down and talk about our time in Virginia and West Virginia.

As we slowly make our trek west to Colorado, we’re making the most out of our journey.

We spent four days in Chincoteague Island in Virginia with our daughter, Stephanie and granddaughter, Lillian.  We spent time on the beach, in the pool, and saw some wild horses.

After Chincoteague, we went to Harpers Ferry, West Virginia to start a week-long stay in West Virginia.  We were in Harpers Ferry for five days.  We then spent three days at Coopers Rock State Forest, before capping off our stay in West Virginia with two days at the New River Gorge National Preserve.
