Today I turned 15 years old!

I am so happy because I will get even more treats today than I do on a regular day because it’s my birthday!  I can’t wait to meet new people today and tell them how wonderful life is.  I will tell them that they should always be happy and look at the brighter side of life.  I will remind them of my ten rules to live by.  Those ten rules have helped me have a long, happy, and wonderful life!  I am always happy.  I absolutely love my life.  I love that I get to spend so much time with my mommy and daddy traveling around in our house on wheels and seeing new places and meeting new people.  It’s the best life that any four-legged pup could ever ask for.

Mommy and daddy tell me that 15 years old for a golden retriever is quite a special birthday.  I tell them that I have had a long and wonderful life because I am always happy and never worry about anything.  Well, almost anything, sometimes, I do worry that mommy and daddy might forget to feed me on time or give me treats, but I do seem to have them trained pretty well now.  I mean, it took 15 years, so they should have it down by now.  I have trained them so well that I seem to be getting even more treats now than I ever did, and that’s a good thing!

I told mommy and daddy that if 15 was such a milestone birthday that I wanted to celebrate it in a very special way.  I want to give a little back to all of the people that love me so much.  I have found in life that when you give something to others, you actually end up feeling really good, too.  Even if you just give them a smile, you will both feel really good after that.  Try it, you’ll see that I am right.
