Tobi Whitney – The Nomad Life and Baseball

Tobi and Jeff met as freshmen at UMASS Amherst and married soon after graduating. After they decided not to have children, thoughts went to retiring early and exploring the world. When Tobi retired as a flight attendant in 2022, free travel across the globe is now an opportunity. At the time, Jeff was mostly retired, working 10 hours a week remotely.  So, they sold their condo and hit the open road in a camper with their cat Milo to see the US and Canada.

After 16 months of living full-time on the road, they’re ready to embark on another new adventure.  This is one that will take them across the globe to Italy.  There Jeff will apply for his citizenship by descent and they plan on securing short-term leases while exploring different cultures throughout the country.

Erin Pappas – Ballplayer, Nature Lover, Single Mom, and Hero

Erin and I first connected through social media back in 2016 during the time that I was building my network of female baseball players and advocates of women and girls playing baseball.  We immediately connected because she was also an avid Red Sox fan.  Like many of the women that I was connecting with at that time, she had participated in the first ever Boston Red Sox Women’s Fantasy Camp.

Four Paws and Six Wheels across America

Hi! My name is Youkilis, I am a golden retriever and I just turned 12 years old yesterday!

I live with my mommy and daddy; our house has six wheels and the three of us drive around the country and are always exploring things.

My daddy writes about our experiences and I told my daddy that I wanted to start sharing the stories about our fun too.  I tell my daddy what I want to say and he types it because my paws can’t use the keyboard.  We tried, but it wasn’t good.
