In this episode of “The Journey of My Mother’s Son” podcast, I sit down to talk with Orien Fadler.
Orien is a retired general contractor who we first met back in October during our project at Picacho Peak State Park in Arizona with A Year to Volunteer.
At 79 years old, Orien is one of the hardest workers I’ve ever met. He was raised with the philosophy to give back and has no plans on slowing down any time soon.
He loves sharing and passing on his wealth of knowledge from 47 years as a general contractor to others.
He is currently in the midst of a three-month cross-country journey with his beloved golden retriever, Lucy, which will include helping on a total of four projects with A Year to Volunteer.
He has two children and four grandchildren.
