In this episode of “The Journey of My Mother’s Son” podcast, I sit down to talk with Annie Leiding and Stephanie Yuen.

Annie and Stephanie are two amazing young women that I was blessed to meet at the CAP Kid Camp in Florida that Sandy and I were able to volunteer at.

They both have alopecia, which is an autoimmune disorder that causes the loss of hair.  They were two of the guest speakers at the camp.

Stephanie, who recently published the book, Stronger Together was diagnosed at 13 years old.

Annie was diagnosed during her sophomore year of college at the age of 19.

They have both had their share of ups and downs dealing with their hair loss, but they are determined to turn their tests into their testimonies for younger kids who are facing the same challenges as they did.
