In this episode of “The Journey of My Mother’s Son” podcast, I sit down to talk with Amy Scruggs.

Amy is a Nashville recording artist with a new EP, titled, “Love Another Day.”  Her newest single from the EP, “What if it all goes Right” is shooting up the charts and closed out at #66 for the week ending, August 5, 2022.  Additionally, the songs official video has topped 105,000 views on YouTube and counting.  The song is truly an anthem of hope in those times in our lives when we’re questioning whether or not to take a chance and bet on ourselves and our grit.

Prior to recording this new EP, she has been known in the country music industry for more than 15 years and has opened for many artists including Clint Black, Trace Adkins, Charlie Daniels, Phil Vassar, Little Texas, and many more.  Although we talk a lot about the song and her music career, Amy so much more than just a chart climbing country recording artist with an incredible voice.

Outside of her music career, Amy uses her twenty years as a Media Executive, TV host, Public Speaker, Corporate Spokesperson, and Business Professional, to help others present and communicate a concise and professional message.  Whether you’re on-camera with network TV, interviewed by a major news or entertainment outlet, filming a corporate video, ZOOM call, podcast, social media marketing or in person public speaking appearance, Amy’s coaching can help streamline your message.

Amy’s career also includes more than 20 years in sales team coaching and received a “Bestseller” with her book “Lights Camera Action” in the fall of 2021.  The past 5 years she has enjoyed her position as the Host for the show “The American Dream” on CNBC as well as being the former Producer & Host of “Veterans One” and “The Retiring Right” TV shows.
